People just really need to quit trying to categorize what is real hip hop and what is not, the genre is so broad and wide you cannot be like “Murs, Common is real hip hop but Wayne and Nicki are not” I mean its all opinions, but what if a person likes Mos Def and Wayne? Rap & Hip Hop Elites are just so damn annoying, I’ve come across so many that they think they’re on some pedestal or cool level because they listen to non mainstream/underground or 90’s hip hop, you are not cooler, you are not part of any culture lol you just listen to non mainstream/underground/ 90’s hip hop, Lil Wayne and Drake are hip hop too, maybe not your taste but it what it is, leave it and move on
